Stoner wins Spain Grand Prix

Yes, it is Casey Stoner, the defending MotoGP champion!

Stoner took his first ever victory at the Jerez circuit on Sunday. It was really a disappointing weekend for the current world champion in Qatar. He just let it go and started off his weekend with a fresh race. Australian lad, Stoner, had a difficult start in the race, but he managed to grab the first position at the end of the race.

Dani Pedrosa had a wonderful start, but in the second lap, he dropped into fourth position. The Spaniard had lost some precious time in the race and at last he recovered 3 seconds in the last 13 laps and managed to grab the number three position, leaving behind Cal Crutchlow.

Stoner who faced problem with his arms in the qualifying round in Qatar had also faced the same trouble, but not as much as last time.

The tires were spinning up a bit in the closing laps but it was not a big problem – it was my arms again,’ said Stoner

This weekend has turned lucky for Stoner. Let’s see if he can keep up the same momentum in the next race.
