Munnar route, World’s Ultimate Riding Wonder

Shell Advance, one of the leading motorcycle lubricant brand has been in search of the “World’s Ultimate Riding Wonder” for quite a while now. The search began few months back and now they’ve finally announced the riding wonder at an event held at the 2011 Shell Advance Malaysian MotoGP. All Indian bike enthusiasts should be really proud as they have named the Coorg to Munnar route via Ooty as the world’s ultimate riding wonder.

The decision was taken based on the public votes from 8 countries and 8 panelists, where in which this route grabbed 2 of the panelist’s votes and more public votes. This is really a must ride route for all the bike enthusiasts in India. The route is stuffed with splendid mountain climbs, twisting corners, mountain climbs and varied wildlife.

During the event in Sepang, Shell Advance guests joined experts from Ducati, Dorna, Shell Advance and the Sepang International circuit. Along with them, some of the selected media persons from India, China and Indonesia were present in the discussion to select one route from the available option of 22 routes.

Panelist Nicky Hayden, Ducati Corse rider, said: “I’ m really pleased that Coorg to Munnar via Ooty, India has been named the world’s ultimate Riding Wonder. There are so many great rides out there and I love the tracks, but think it was a good choice”

Shell Advance also announced one lucky guest, Alessandro Donadello from Italy, who won the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to visit India and Ultimate Riding Wonder.
