Indian GP Postponed to December

Indian Grand Prix, scheduled on October (28th-30th) has been postponed and will be happening in December. World Motor Sport Council (WMSC) has finally decided the fate of Bahrain Grand Prix, which was postponed due to anti-government protest in Bahrain. FIA Vice-president, Carlos Gracia had visited Bahrain on 31st May 2011 to assess the situation in the country.

FIA on Friday decided to host Bahrain GP in October(on 28th to 30th), during which Indian GP event was scheduled. Indian GP, which has been postponed, will become the one this season’s finale. The exact dates have not been finalized yet.

India will host season’s finale, along with that  FIA’s General Assembly and Prize-giving gala will also be held in the country.
