Indian GP 2011: Second free practice results

Felipe Massa’s from Brazil took his Ferrari to the fastest time of the day in the second practice session for the 2011 Indian Grand Prix.

He was ahead of Lewis Hamilton’s by over 1 second. McLaren’s Lewis Hamilton was however disappointed after the first session when the stewards penalized him three grid places for the Sunday’s for setting his fastest time while the marshals were recovering Pastor Maldonado’s stricken Williams near Turn 16. Even Sauber’s Sergio Perez received a similar penalty.

On the other hand, Jérôme D’Ambrosio of Virgin made a mistake while exiting Turn 11 and hit the wall, which resulted in some damages to the vehicle.
