Honda launches revamped Dio

After unveiling refreshed version of popular scooter offering from Honda, Dio, at the Auto Expo last month, Honda Motorcycles & Scooters India (HMSI) has finally launched the scooter.
The fascia of new Dio has been revamped to make it look flashier. The new model features the new headlight design, body panels and a new tail design to go with rest of the scooter. Seat is wider to ensure comfortable seating.
N.K. Rattan, Vice President – Sales, Marketing & Corporate Affairs, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India said,“The increased convenience and comfortable riding position of New Dio will appeal to both style conscious young males and females.”
Coming to the engine department, an 110cc engine producting 8 BHP gives life to the scooter. The engine is borrowed from 2nd generation Activa, which claims 15 per cent higher fuel efficiency (55 kmpl). Apart from this, it also borrows Activa’s Combi Brake System.
The new Honda Dio sports a price tag of Rs. 42,362 (ex-showroom Delhi) and deliveries are expected to commence from February end.

this new model is not even comparable to the old one, the old one was muscular and attractive but this one lacks all the qualities of the old one!! i would definitely prefer old one against new! this new design is total waste of time , i wonder if anyone would even think of buying this, i was planning to buy dio but this change of model has made me to think about other brands ,
Hai Rahul Did u se new DIO. I thik it looks more attractive more fuel efficient, More features and ensures more safty than d old one . U r not interested with d new design actually d old ones that fix in our eyes.it take some time to go flow with d new one. It s designed by d same Honda team. I thik they only try to renew the old model. and it looks more appealing than d old one . So if u have any plan to buy gearless definitely the new dio will be one of the best choice and one more u can get it with out any waiting period for at least for 6 month .
Wat about the milage?

i guess they will also not buy it
